CJ'S STATE OF THE WEBPAGE ADDRESS: MAY 27, 2002

Hi.  As you may have noticed, things haven't exactly been kept up to date as much as I would have liked.  When you have as many things on your hands as I do happening, certain things take precedence over others... allow me to explain what's been going on the past few months.

Of course, the delays got started when my grandmother passed away back in February.  For two weeks surrounding the tragic date, everything was thrown into chaos.  Hanging out at the hospital, waiting for the inevitable, the wake, the funeral, and so forth.  It was an inevitable, so getting over the death was rather quick... but boy, did my free time suffer!

Right after that, I had to start preparing to go to Toronto, Ontario, Canada to meet many of the Wrestling Bytes/Project X crew at for Wrestlemania X8 weekend.  It was a great time had by all which has been documented both in a Breaking Kayfabe installment (peep the archives) and on videotape.

Prior to going to Canada, I wrote and recorded a five-song EP of electronic/techno music that I burned ten copies of and gave to the rest of the crew in Toronto.  Encouraged by the response, I decided to release the EP, WMX8, to the public.  I'm working on a full length album and that's been taking up much of my free time not already taken by my working out at the gym -- and I had a lot of catching up to do there because my whole routine got thrown out of wack back in February and I pretty much had to start over somewhat.

Then, of course, there was having to wake up on April 26, 2002 and hear the horrible news about Lisa Lopes. No, I never knew her, but TLC have been one of my favorite bands for the past ten years and to have to hear what happened AND write an obituary for her decades earlier than I ever thought I would, and a mere month after I wrote a tenth-anniversary piece on TLC, was pretty hard to take.  So, I shut down the site for a month as a memorial and reopened it on what would have been her 31st birthday.   In addition to this site, all of my recordings and writings, starting with the "A.F.C." single this month (it would have been sooner, but the cover art isn't finished), will be dedicated to her memory.

In the weeks to come I'll finally finish archiving all my continuing writings on this site as well as keep everyone updated on my musical progress.   Thanks for your patience and support.

Anarchy and peace,
CJ Marsicano.
